Simple Elegance in Wire and Glass

A few months ago I was delivering a package to a house, and saw a cool iron trellis in their garden.
It had some cool curves that I really liked.  So I made a crude drawing on a piece of scrap paper, and when I got home, pinned it up on the bulletin board in my studio.

More recently I made a purchase online of some little gems that caught my eye.
They are pressed glass from Germany in varied colors and designs..  After I opened them up and layed them out on my workbench, I looked up and saw the trellis drawing.  "Aahhhh!" I said.

Soon I'll make some with a different shape, but for now I'm loving this one...

  1. Pretty stuff!! I would tell you I'm stealing the idea, but I never get anything done, so you're probably safe.

Dropped you a note at your Etsy account.

    Hope all is well.
